Kosovo NOC for the first time gives a monthly scholarship to the 2019 Olympic Hopes

The Kosovo Olympic Committee has signed contracts with six young athletes, who have been selected by the Executive Board of the NOC as 2019 Olympic Hopes.
At the signing ceremony held at Hotel Sirius in Pristina, it was announced that the six athletes will receive monthly scholarships of 100 euros from NOC throughout 2019.
The selected athletes are: Drenis Mala (archery), Erdonis Maliqi (boxing), Melisa Zhdrella (swimming), Bleron Fetaovski (weightlifting), Blerton Nuha (cycling) and Albinot Selmani (karate).
In addition, it was also announced that NOC has selected 10 other athletes as Olympic Hopes, who will receive scholarships from the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports throughout 2019, worth 150 euros per month.

Medaljet e fituara në Lojërat Olimpike

Kosova për herë të parë mori pjesë në Lojërat Olimpike “RIO 2016”. Medaljen e artë e ka fituar xhudistja, Majlinda Kelmendi, në kategorinë deri 52 kilogram.
